Before you begin
To sign up for Square Payroll in Wyoming, you must be registered with the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services so we can pay and file your state taxes.

Make Wyoming payroll tax payments
In Wyoming, unemployment tax payments are due by the last day of the month following the end of each calendar quarter (for example, for the end of the first quarter, April 30 would be the deadline).
To make Wyoming unemployment tax payments, you must be registered with the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services and have a valid Wyoming UI account number. If you have not yet registered with the state you can do so here.
Log in to your Wyoming DWS account to make Unemployment Insurance payments.

Make unemployment insurance tax filings in Wyoming

If you already have a WY Unemployment Insurance Account Number and UI tax rate, you can find this on previous tax filings or the Official Notice of Unemployment Insurance Tax Rate sent by the WY Department of Workforce Services. If you’re unsure, contact the agency at 307-235-3217.
If you are a new business, you can register online for your WY Workers’ Comp Account Number when you register for your WY UI Account Number.
If you already have a WY Workers’ Comp Account Number, you can find the number on previous tax filings or on correspondence from the WY Department of Workforce Services. If you’re unsure, contact the agency at 307-777-6763.
